Test from Lemmy to NodeBB

I see this via Lemmy. ๐ฅณ

@[email protected] ah I think I can explain that... an unrelated boost caused my instance to fall over for a little while heh.
-
I see you from Lemmy!

Never mind, I see everything properly in Jerboa. It's just Sync for Lemmy being shit and outdated as to why I can't see things properly from it. A new update can't come soon enough.

It's super cool and I'm glad to see it working properly. I don't think you understand how truly awesome this is, but thanks for all the work you put in to make it happen.

Testing from Lemmy.ml. Seems to work pretty good?

Kind of wild to see those Lemmy answers in a bb! Super cool, if I ever have the need for a forum I know what to host.
-
At least I can see this post!
-
@deadsuperhero I can see this from WordPress. Can you see me?
-
It seems so, at least from szmer.info
-
Wild! I definitely can!
-
Wow, this is pretty amazing. How did you create a new post on NodeBB from Lemmy?
-
@[email protected] just mention the category actor in a new post and NodeBB will associate it with the category
-
@julian Nice! Thank you! :smiling_face_with_hearts:
You might want to set up a test forum, so people can try it out. That way it does not clutter up the conversation list with tests.
Curious to see if these emojies come through. :white_exclamation_mark: -
@[email protected] looks like you found a bug!
Emoji in sourceContent not properly replaced ยท Issue #13070 ยท NodeBB/NodeBB
Emoji in content is replaced with html img but sourceContent is rendered via posts parse, so emoji aren't properly handled.
GitHub (github.com)
The emoji normally show through fine but yours don't because you send markdown and we parse it on demand. Will have to refactor!
