[Solved] problem with move

Bug Reports
  • hi team

i moved topic 41 url with the move post to 1

and now when i try to enter topic 41 shows me a 404 error.

please how can i do a rollback of these move?

    thanks in advance

  • If I understand correctly you moved the main post of topic 41 and now you can't access topic 41 since there are no posts left in that topic? If that's the case just find the post you moved and move it back to topic 41.

hey man, thanks to the rapid reply, OMG i have an sticky topic 41 and i move accidentally.

summary: i enter inside the topic and try the move post on the first post and specify number 1 and then click move.

and now if i try to enter to the topic 41 redirects to 404 page 😞

i see localhost:port/user in reply and is broken now to enter the topic 41

please help i want to revert this changes i can't edit in the admin>topics neither.

  • Yeah so you moved the first post to topic id 1. Go to topic 1 and the move the post back to topic 41. That should fix your problem.

  • @baris OMG you're the best!!!! thank you dude

@julian thanks. I can login as admin now after git pull today.

I understand the sub-category is still working in progress. I am just wondering
how it will looks like: for example: I have category hierarchy like: US --> California --> SF Bay area; and US --> California --> San Diego area.

when user navigate to California category page, will the user see all the subcategories link list (like "SF Bay area", and "San Diego area") , and also see the posts to "Californa" category ?

when user do a new post, when user select categories, will the drop-down menu show some tree-like hierarchy to allow user select a specific sub-category?

seems it introduces a lot of complexity to the code base. we really appreciate you guys' great work to make this feature working.
