Hello Fedi friends!

I've been refreshing the website of my project #TheRealists and I'm taking full advantage of the #ActivityPub #Wordpress plugin to share articles straight to the #Fediverse.

This one is from earlier this year, but it feels timely, with everything that's going on in the social media space. Most popular platforms feel like Pinocchio's Pleasure Island IMHO.

@_elena @JustinH FYI, while the ActivityPub plugin adds the fediverse:creator meta tag, it doesn't work without the rest of the Open Graph metadata.

The "Open Graph" plugin by Will Norris will finish the metadata. https://wordpress.org/plugins/opengraph/

@opendna but it seems that @_elena is using the Yoast SEO plugin and that also works nicely!

@pfefferle @opendna ah yes! I had installed / activated Open Graph but Yoast SEO gave me a warning about interference, so I had to deactivate it 🥲

@_elena @opendna If you prefer the Open Graph plugin, I can check if there is a filter, to deactivate Yoasts Open Graph integration. We already do that for Jetpack.
