This is why federal Conservative leader Pierre #Poilievre has been heavily campaigning in British Columbia for the past two years.

@gemelliz @AlisonCreekside let's not forget "BC Rising" an offshout of "Freedom Rising" which came out of the convoy movement. Vancouver Island convoys were mainly organized out of Campbell River.
-
@lacouvee - drank the koolaid @AlisonCreekside
Yesterday, Campbell River voted for Con Anna Kindy who reposted messages that "Dr. Bonnie Henry murders babies with a bioweapon" and claimed #BC is enduring "a vax genocide"
The same day #BC wildfires jumped towards Kelowna, #Poilievre was in the very same Campbell River chirping "axe the tax".
The Campbell River #NDP campaign office was closed due to a bomb threat during the campaign.

@gemelliz @lacouvee @AlisonCreekside so incredibly sad.
-
@gemelliz @lacouvee @AlisonCreekside I can't help but wonder how many of these newly minted “representatives” will either self-destruct in a haze of social media fury or come to their senses during their MLA tenure and end up alienating, and being subsequently "punished" by their “base" as "traitors”.
-
@chris @gemelliz @lacouvee @AlisonCreekside This is what happens when “time for a change” voters haven’t got any viable party to change too. They vote for a party brand that has been overtaken by wing nuts. It is a big reason why I believe federally the CFP can play a disruptor role.
-
@Globob @chris @gemelliz @AlisonCreekside ok - first I am hearing of a CFP party.
-
@lacouvee @chris @gemelliz @AlisonCreekside The are new. They are going to be holding their first convention in a couple of weeks.

@Globob @lacouvee @chris @gemelliz @AlisonCreekside
Oh ya that group. Pretty far to the right it seems to me. No environmental policy. Thats a deal breaker.
Gonna fix everything with Nuclear reactors. -
@sleepy62 @lacouvee @chris @gemelliz @AlisonCreekside Fair enough you don’t like some of CFPs policies. Just curious how you would propose to divert the “time for a change voter” from the CPC.
-
@Globob @sleepy62 @lacouvee @gemelliz @AlisonCreekside I'm not in on the policies. But I am always in on increasing participation. I'm a little surprised there is no call for electoral reform/proportional representation. Without that, it will be near impossible to build up a grassroots effort for a new political party.
