The devil's water

No. Some people just canβt handle subtlety.

La Croix seems to be the best of the available off-the-shelf sparkling waters brands, at least where I live. Liquid Death, Bubbly, Aha, Spindrift, and Waterloo just don't seem as good imo.
Though Topo Chico is also bomb
-
To me I thought the same for a long time, until I realized things like soda had completely nuked my taste buds. After cutting out soda and other insanely high in sugar things a lot more started tasting better, and la croix now has a ton of flavor.

If you donβt drink sugary drinks in the regular, they have plenty of flavor

It tastes like licking a crt screen that is showing the scrambled image of a grapefruit.
So, it's great when the office stocks it for free.
-
Liquid Death is trash. It tastes like the can. I like Bubly and the Target brand though. Bubly orange cream is bomb.

No son of mine is going to drink" La Croix!"
We drink Waterloo in this house
-
I personally prefer the Kirkland signature brand to La Croix. But that just be me.

I don't feel as strongly about la croix, but if I have a choice I'm getting polar water instead. If you're looking for flavored water, it's the best imho.

Polar Vanilla is the best bubbly water I've found but I can't get it anymore!

I've never heard of or seen that before. Thank you for passing along your white whale lol. Now I need it too. Tbh, all their flavors are pretty good if you haven't tried the others, I'd suggest giving them a shot. My local grocery store (it's very local so not naming it so I don't dox myself) has a very good alternative store brand. I like berry flavors, and their in house brand is just as good as polar if not better. Worth trying your local store brand just in case you get lucky and find a new favorite!

They aren't actually flavored at all, they're just scented. If you plug your nose you can't taste them

This is the best description I've read lol.

Plug your nose and most things taste bland lol, and Iβm pretty sure they have flavor to them. Regardless, what difference would it make if the effect is the same?
-
I'm sure that's probably true for many people, but also some people just don't vibe with seltzers. I quit drinking everything but water and black coffee a few years back due to kidney stones and I still can't stand lightly flavored seltzers.

If you have a weak sense of smell then you can't taste them at all. I can taste most things fine though (la croix excluded) without them tasting bland. Smell definitely adds to flavoring but it's not like it's the only thing responsible for how you taste food/drinks.
-
Plus, they are amazing as mixers, so you can always make them alcoholic

It's not an issue though since it's fr*nch.
Fun fact: Vampires can say God in fr*nch without issues, because it's such a godless language

Water? I vote water.

I recently found a very mildly sweetened tea and I've been in love. Tall can and only 7 grams of sugar. I can drink them all day and I don't feel like I'm going to enter into a diabetic coma like I do after one sip of Arizona tea.
Problem is they aren't cheap and they only give you free shipping on the first batch... Not sure I am willing to spend the money on getting them consistently which sucks. I need to find somewhere local and stock up.
