I dont forget Nazis nor do I forgive them, though if they wish to renounce their hate and adhere to a long since burned social contract, they're nominally, cautiously welcome to give it a shot & do the lifelong work to prove it.

I'm a White South African. I got over the internalised racism I grew up with. So did millions of others.
In our last election, the number of South Africans who voted for our explicitly fascist party declined from a quarter of the White population to a sixth, even though the country is suffering from many of the material conditions usually associated with the rise of fascism.
If we can do it, there's hope for anyone.

Sidenote: just because someone isn't openly a member of a fascist party doesn't mean that they don't have a lot of internalised racism, and definitely doesn't mean that they should be trusted anywhere near power. Kier Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, I'm looking at you.
