@halva Those of us who are pro-rehabilitation are forced to keep shut when the rest of the world gives in to rage and vengeance, lest we be mischaracterized as protecting the guilty.

I'll add a disclaimer which shouldn't be needed, but here we are - yes, I've had traumatic things happen to me, and yes, I still push for restorative rather than retributive justice.
