@wdlindsy That's crazy. Spann is a legend and hugely respected in Alabama. He knows the state like the back of his hand. If there's a tornado in the area he's known to warn specific neighborhoods off the top of his head without looking at a map. Absolute insanity.

It seems to me that the extreme "fundamental" groups of Christianity, Judaism & Islam are all cultish and full of bizarre & ugly lies. I don't know enough about other religions to know if the same is true. It's just demoralizing that there are people stupid enough, or mean enough, to believe and spread them.
