Regarding this image, can the problem be taken care of or do I have to hand-edit the template file for the page to remove references to NodeBB and add my site?

should have been fixed as of this commit 2 months ago. haven't used the outgoing page in a while so please reopen if bugged:

This is a brand new installation, so have to reopen that report.

You have to specify a site title for it to be replaced. Otherwise, it defaults to "NodeBB"

Well, I think that in itself is another problem. Some of the settings don't persist. For example, I have changed site-specific information and other options in Settings, but on restarting the server, I lose them. Even the logo I uploaded no longer shows in the header. Is that a known issue?

And looking back now, it worked fine the first time, but like I said, I lost it after restarting the server.
