You're missing the proper value in config.json.
@passive try downgrading npm
Example here https://github.com/certbot/certbot/issues/5817
Got the same error, never got it before, using similar basic setups. Seems very common - Does anyone have any insight in how to get around or what to check?
NodeBB (for obvious reasons) requires MongoDB to be running so it can start. So the problem here is MongoDB isn't running, as you've figured out.
If MongoDB won't start via the service handler, check the logs to see what went wrong. They're likely in /var/log/mongodb
@KevinPan your problem is not exactly the same, because according to your reply over there, you're using IIS not nginx.
I don't know how to use IIS (don't know if any one else here who does) but you'll need to set the same headers that we do in the example nginx file: https://docs.nodebb.org/configuring/proxies/nginx/#basic-setup
@Kowlin some of their tutorials are confusing but some I've found to be excellent. I think it depends on the tutor perhaps?
