Are you running more than one nodebb process? If so make sure you setup redis so socket.io works properly.

The problem is as follows: If I follow the theme, any mention of the other person will not bring me to notification.

Ahh so if you are following a topic, and someone posts a reply to it you don't get a notification. Not related to mentions.
Weird I just posted in that topic with my test account and I got the notification
@baris You've subscribed to your topic? If so, what's wrong? I thought that you and should be notified about new posts to watched topics.
Yeah I found the problem, only happens if you are subscribed to the topic and someone makes a post in that topic and mentions someone.
