Wordpress Plugin "Last Community posts"

Blogs and forum communities are often connected. I think it would be nice to have a WordPress plugin which shows last activity of the forum in the side bar of the blog.

You could use the Widgets API to develop a WP widget. Although I'm not sure how you'd query the Redis or Mongo database for the last activity info.

Best bet would be to use that API and pull data from /recent
