@atomicbird yup! CT has its own version which is a little weird, and the site isn’t nearly as well thought out. For example: you can create a password that is longer than the password you’re allowed to enter when logging in, which is AWESOME when you use a password manager and subsequently lock your account because of too many unsuccessful attempts.

@octothorpe The curse of writing software is that I can pretty much see the coding error that leads to that password problem even though I’ve never visited or used the site at all.

@atomicbird likely, this was one of those things where the tickets created were broken down into tiny tasks, and one got updated and the other didn’t.
It’s also possible the log-in team is totally different from the ‘new user’ team.
Everything that can go wrong, will.
