Calling for the collective punishment of Latinos, under any context is dangerous and racist.
Using sweeping characterizations of "Latino culture" is dangerous and racist.
Indicting an entire group of people whose only connection is the effects of American imperialism is dangerous and racist.
If the only time in four years you've mentioned Latinos was to do one of the above, and not to advocate for immigrant treatment, that's dangerous and racist.

@fromjason @jdp23 The whole category of “Latino” bugs me and has for some time because it includes black people, white people, people with backgrounds from totally different countries, naturalized citizens, children and grandchildren of naturalized citizens…all with very different cultures and beliefs and political stances.

100% agree.
The term "Latino" has also been turned into short hand for second-class citizen.
There is no meaningful analysis to be had under that umbrella term other than "how non-European white is this country becoming?"

Yeah agreed all around.
