Windows Server 2012R2 IIS Configuration
-
Hello,
how can I configure IIS to be a Reserve Proxy? (like nginx).
(HTTP & HTTPS Ports to the standard NodeBB Port.)
I found a old thread where @Moritz-Friedrich said he will write a guide for that, and put it in the documentation portal. I couldn't find that guide.
Would be nice if someone can help me.
Thanks,
Andi

I just wanted to ask the same...

URL rewrite
That isn't proxy, though. Will it do all that proxy does (IP preservation, for instance)?

Im not sure if it does that, but i think that this rule is called application request routing, and works the same way as a reverse proxy for what i can tell.

What if you wrote a guide for how far you've reached, let's say 70% of the way. Then it'll be easier for us to follow and then finish the rest (no promises though :p) Just a suggestion. You're probably the first trying to install on this server software

There's an edit button on the top right, and making a new page is as easy as just cloning and copying and pasting another guide and editing it
