Geeze, ripping discs with certain kinds of copy protection really is fiddly. My wife bought an older PC game with Safedisc protection and wanted to put it on her Steam Deck, but turns out my Plextor drive choked on them with DiscImageCreator/redumper/CloneCD. Had to use a different drive completely, one that isn't compatible with DIC/redumper.

Steam Deck CD-ROM edition coming when. Takes discs in those little caddies with a pop-open back like the PSP.
