I still think of Fireproof Games’ “The Room” (2012) as maybe the most perfect mobile game ever. Just an incredibly tightly constructed little puzzle that makes inspired use of the touchscreen as an interface for interacting with it. I just played through it again. Still holds up!
Fireproof spent the next decade turning out decreasingly good sequels, and then they pivoted to VR, which I don’t have so I can’t tell you if their efforts there are good or not. But if you never played the original, it’s still out there, it’s still great, and hey, these days you can probably pick it up for cheap.

Now I’m asking myself if I should buy a Switch so I can play a tower defense game I was addicted to in 2008 in bed. I hate how much my brain thinks that thought makes sense

@jalefkowit Which game would that be? Have a Switch and I’ve not found a decent tower defence game yet.

@alexanderdyas Technically it’s the 2014 sequel to the game I was obsessed with in 2008
