Empathy, the buttons on timers and alarms are reversed, and my 3 year old fix I still dig
There’s a trope online where someone will post pictures of the iOS screen when alarms and timers are going off and they’ll lament, “why are the actions reversed, it’s confusing!” This post will get lots of engagement with people agreeing, but there will be plenty other people

@matt do people really use snooze more than stop? I pretty much never snooze an alarm…

@amyworrall @matt As a parent of teenagers, I know people how have a very layered multi-alarm snooze+ignore+still-none-of-it-worked system who would appreciate this interface.

@agiletortoise @amyworrall @matt I’m a 49 year old man who almost always snoozes multiple times.

@danielpunkass @agiletortoise @amyworrall @matt I use the snooze feature as a timing device. Ios snooze is 10 minutes. Because I get almost no sleep, but still have to operate in the morning, I try and wake at the last minute. The alarm goes off, hit snooze and I get out of bed, then proceed to do various ablutions, and hitting snooze when it goes off. Shower? 10 min. Dress? 10 min. Etc. Mostly because I don’t want Bill’s caregiver to come in whilst I’m still getting dressed.
