My coworker and I were talking to another coworker about his fears on immigration. We both told him how the economics of mass deportation and clogging the legal system will certainly cost the US more than whatever meager benefits an immigrant can receive undocumented.

And then I joked

"Unless you do Nazi math."

And I saw his eyes light up in realization.

@Nagaram @Lana yup, there it is. The final solution style thinking chooses gas over bullets partly for cost control. nazi math indeed is a good phrase for it.
