I made my first plugin.
I have a youtube-lite plugin taken as a basis.
with the nodebb plugin Prezi presentations can be integrated by http://prezi.com.
npm : https://www.npmjs.com/package/nodebb-plugin-prezi
Ah, I've figured out the problem, it was a silly mistake. I had forgotten to rename the folder to match the plugin name. Thanks for verifying the quickstart plugin works.
Of course, however I just felt more comfortable trying to understand what each line of code did! This was more of a learning experience ~
@PitaJ Thanks for the answer!
I don't really know what do you mean by "template base object", do you mean the template file, or the template renderer?
Or it's just by doing like data.title = "blabla" before the render?
Also can I add other metadata to improve the SEO of the page?
What I do sometimes is create a new db entry, with the key prefixed by the user object key. The core never knows it exists, so it should always be forward compatible.
You just have to make sure to delete it if the user is deleted, so there's not an orphan key left behind.
db.delete('user:' + uid + ':something');
Hello, I really like this plugin: https://github.com/adlerosn/nodebb-plugin-groups-autoassigncategory
But I really need following changes:
1. An update (and test!) of all dependencies and changes like:
2. Setup permissions like this (or give an option in the admin panel):
Guests, Spiders, Registered Users: No permissions at all (not even read or see)
Group members: All permissions except "see deleted posts", "permanently delete" and "moderate" (I hope I got the translations right, it's the last three checkboxes).
My Forum with a lot of users will require this and I'd really appreciate it.
