@antiaall3s thank you for sharing! I have this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach. If people donβt oppose this - I canβt imagine there will be much of a fight on any bans going forward.
People canβt keep waiting - they need to put their masks back on. Sign the petition. Call their elected officials!
Donβt listen to a guy that said that masks obscure your eyes ffs.

What many forget, the medical exemption does not protect, per se, instead leads to a negotiation, that feels much more threatening for people with known immun-deficiencies, disabilities. Always the same people will get discriminated/ intimidated for wearing a mask, be it by the police or other authority figures. Mostly BIPOC and disabled folks, we already know that from stop&frisk
