If I were more suspicious I’d think that this portal has a user experience that is deliberately annoying to give a disincentive to lodging requests, but it must just be me having to type ‘light fixture broken’ into the same form for the fifth time

@liamvhogan Yeah, they are definately to make less work for the real estate agent. From what I saw of my son's complaint of a sparking power socket the portals are not doing landlords any favours either.
I mean it's 22 hours later and that power socket is still sparking, with the risk of burning down the property. The REA was called in person to ask permission to turn the circuit breaker off, but was told the REA was on holidays and to ask in the portal. No response yet, not even to say "CB to off asap thanks".
