went to the public weighbridge this morning. Waited behind some ballbag in a brand new landcruiser dual cab with every possible ARB accessory bolted to it. He sat there for 10min before driving off the bridge and parking. While I was getting set up to weigh my trailer he walks up and goes "what's supposed to happen? Nothing works"
I reply - not sure, it says on the sign to wait for the red light then go to the booth. (there is a large sign that explains exactly how to use the weighbridge)
"there's nothing to tell you what to do"
there's the sign, back there *I point to the big fucking sign*
"$40! I'm not paying that!"
oh well. *I finish weighing my trailer, get the ticket, get back in the car*
He drove off in a plume of smoke at maximum speed. Fucking loser shit. $150k vehicle plus all the fruit and cannot read a simple sign and wont pay $40.

@Kels_316 plume of smoke probably means the same kind of “performance tune” you had on your defender previously - crank the fuel delivery up to 11 and don’t give a fuck about anything else

@jpm @Kels_316 it’s these knuckleheads that give off-roading a bad name (and probably don’t go off-road much if at all). I will freely admit to putting ARB kit on my Triton because I could afford it at the time.
In related news I’m now training to drive the 7 (Mitsubishi Canter) and 2 (Isuzu FTS750) at RFS. Hoping to clear my MR license test by March. Choofed about in the 7 for an hour or so at training today for practice.
