New Topic button does not generate textbox field - Lavender Theme

    I am running the latest version of nodebb (v0.7.0) on my local (Mac) machine.

    I recently updated to the latest Lavender theme and to my surprise the new topic button does not work anymore. Rather I am getting the below image below instead of the standard textbox field to fill in a new topic post.

    I have tried resetting via ./nodebb reset plugin="nodebb-theme-lavender" but that does not seem to revert it back to the previous version. I tested it using the persona theme and the new topic button does work.

    Any idea what is going on?

    edit: log files indicate this:

    If you are on latest core then you need nodebb-plugin-composer-default plugin for the composer.

    @Arun-K You can look at the data in the post object in a topic. For example in this topic your post is the main one so it has an index of 0.

    A comment like @PitaJ 's post doesn't have a toPid field so it is a top level reply. I have directly replied your post so my post object has a toPid field.

    @mj I found the problem.

    We have a few categories that afe not viewable for some users and we had over 80 topics in this category that's why the recent page had only 4 topics.

    I want to remove all avatars/profile pictures on Persone Theme

    Can somebody help me.

    I want delete all of the avatars and replace some of them by the username in the persona theme. but I don't know exactly where and how to do it.

    1. I want the avatars be gone from the post.

    How do I do that? if I use display: none; the avatars will go away. But the text will not move to the left as I want it to.

    2. On the recent page I want the avatars replaced by the username.

    3. In the notification-bar I want the avatars be removed and the text go to the left.

    5. On the profile page I want the timeline removed.

    The rest I did removed with display: none; in the CSS but the things above didn't work that way. So please I need a little help.

    My English is not very good, because of that I make pictures so I can tell better what I try to say.

    Hi @EnDylan -- your best bet would be to create a new theme, either by forking one of the existing themes (like Persona!), or creating a new one using a skeleton theme such as https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-theme-quickstart

    Does anyone know how I'd go about doing this on the home page in the category list? I'm not much of a fan of the recent posts.

    I've tried using <!-- IF @first --> to get the last updated post/topic but it still shows them all.

    Edit, the following code shows first for each post, meaning @first isn't working for some reason (Opened up an issue😞
