This observer doesn't buy the Revisionist School of Brexiter "philosophy" that now seeks to justify the folly by seeking to persuade that customs unions & single market agreements are "bad" wherever they are to be found, upon some fabricated concern for those outside the zone. China is an (enormous) single market. As is India. Also, in particular, the US. Only within the #EU did the UK possess collective market muscle to resist being dictated to by such rival centres of commercial gravity.
