Anyway there were about 12 noises outside my window that were annoyingly ambiguous.

@nullpo it's usually a lot more obvious, haha.
There are a lot of people who go into Jersey and pickup fireworks, so my neighborhood has fireworks going off pretty regularly over the summer; so that's not unusual.
This was like the laurel/yanny of pops.
