I'm always amazed at tech CEOs absolute lack of legal acumen.
I shouldn't be. I've worked in tech since 1995. But every time I think I've found the bottom of the hole: no, it's even deeper.

@molly0xfff (also, unfortunately, I'd put a lot of money on the DOJ supporting Coinbase's point of view; and a decent amount of money on DOJ having suggested it. They want a no-strings-attached slush fund available. Which is some significant horseshit.)

@paul2024 i haven’t misrepresented any facts. he has presented a theory as to how he believes coinbase’s actions were within the boundaries of the law, which we addressed in a supplemental filing. (this is all explained in the link in the original thread)
