@catsalad ok but this is simple. As long as price is advertised and you decide you are happy to pay agreed advertised price and they charge the price you agreed, why does it matter if it changed 10 seconds ago or 10 years ago?

@atax1a LOL, but seriously that is what I would expect if done in UK, though trading standards are a bit useless these days. Customers would soon call out the price at the toll is higher than on the shelf. AFAIK even when manual price tags, they always change tag first if increasing price. It is not complicated.

@revk my dude they are explicitly stating that their primary interest is in using it to jack up the price on cold stuff when it is hot outside

@atax1a and shops jack up price when it is not Black Friday. It’s an offer to buy at a price and if you don’t like the offer then don’t buy.
