Win this in October!
Vote On Day 1! It's one way you can really help win this thing! It builds momentum and gets you off GOTV rolls, so campaigns can target crucial lower propensity voters.
Early and/or In-Person Absentee voting has begun in Illinois, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont and Virginia.
Next week voting begins in California, Guam, Indiana, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio and Wyoming.

More on Vote on Day 1 strategy:
- Extra time to do GOTV allows targeting more low propensity voters, and this increases our turnout and helps us win.
- A heavy early turnout leads to stories about “hey everyone is voting” putting social pressure on people to go vote, which increases turnout.
- It demoralizes the opposition and leads them to be less likely to vote.
- Makes it far harder for the Republicans to cheat, disrupt or contest the election.

@mastodonmigration @KamalaHarrisWin It also influences the media coverage which in turn will influence late-breaking low information voters who just want to "pick a winner" (sadly this is a thing)

@mastodonmigration @KamalaHarrisWin @inthehands I voted 10 days ago: https://mastodon.online/@michael_w_busch/113189810067551295
(Although it took another 4 days for my ballot to be logged as received.)

This is a very smart, and strategic view. Voting early frees up campaign resources to focus on the more intermitant and still unsure voters! And it makes sure your vote is IN the sysstem and early as possible making the election day crush less on the system.

In states that allow voters to “cure” their ballot when there are issues, voting early can give you more time to make sure your vote is counted.
