@wdlindsy It looks that way. I'm over there. Have been for around 14 months, but it has little to do with politics. I trying for a professional community that just isn't present here, at least not yet.

@wdlindsy Trumpie's base doesn't understand that word or what it means to them! When they start losing benefits they assumed fell from the sky it'll start hurting. Then he'll tell them it's Joe's fault and they'll believe that too!

@wdlindsy I'm not blind to the issues OR the potential problem. It could happen. Very well might. But I survived it before and would probably survive it again. My issue remains that it's currently my only realistic alternative. I love Mastodon, but it doesn't fill the necessary gap for me. I loved Twitter--way back in the day. For a long time it was very effective for what I needed. Perhaps this can be the same, at least for a while.
