#DougFord is sending you $200 bucks so you will forget that he fukked up Ontario's Home Care agency so badly that "nurses are boiling and reusing sterile syringes - ones they have bought on Amazon because the province could not supply them"

The #Ontario #Conservative govt refuses to answer questions about their new medical supply system, including what private companies were awarded the province's business.

@gemelliz @ctvnews A one-time payment of $200 is a cheap week of groceries, whereas money invested in healthcare can mean the difference between life and death. And I don't care how fit, young and healthy a person thinks they are now, we all depend on the healthcare system eventually.
I don't want $200, I want a functioning province.

UPDATE: For over six weeks, urgently needed drugs and supplies have been showing up late, or not at all, for home care patients in #Ontario.
Patients continue to suffer and die while waiting for medication as the province struggles to roll out a new supply chain for Ontario Health atHome (prev. CCAC/LHIN)
The Ford #Conservative govt refuses to reveal which private companies were awarded the province's home care business.

"The Ford #Conservative govt refuses to reveal which private companies were awarded the province's home care business. "
(In Windsor where my daughter is living it is Maxim home healthcare for initial home from the hospital med. supplies)
I want to know who is running O H at Home because my daughter has to use their services as does my husband.
When my husband needed help the first time he had to have a "health assessment"
beforehand which involved a personal "interview" and a very lengthy list of questions, right down to **very minor** health issues. I was the one who answered the questions because I have Powers of Attorney. The number of, and the type of questions, was rather unsettling so I asked just exactly what private company was involved. The regional coordinator* (see footnote) insisted O. H. at Home was not private. When I brought up that the private medical supply company *they insist* my daughter use was double billing (and could prove it) she frowned and quickly dismissed my concerns. Is there fraud?*I am wondering about the "harvesting" of personal health information by the province. They want to know Everything even down to if you ever get constipation or the last time you had a cold. Is Doug preparing for private health insurance? Is he selling out health history to companies?

#DougFord has sold out our #OHIP to #PCHealth /Shoppers / GalenOur OHIP number is now cross ref'd with any purchases for Over The Counter drugs, rx drugs etc. The whole system is ready to be handed over to Maple Health or whoever. Then the next step is to sell it on to a US Healthcare company coz you know efficiencies.
Enjoy your $200.
