Could fix our gas and electricity and get 9% less than the October UK price hike though in the grand scheme we might only save £100 over the 12 month fix. Better than nothing I guess.#GasAndElectricity #UK #CostOfLiving

That seems ok. Which provider would you choose? I looked at Uswitch deals this month.

@solarbranka I've been with Outfox the market for a few years now and it's their own 12 month fix I'm looking at (his holiness Martin Lewis has also been highlighting it as a general non customer fix option too) . The good bit is as an existing customer I'd face no exit fees if I decided to just fall back to the standard variable tariff I'm already on. Not a huge saving but would limit the October increase to 1% and negate the January 3% increase too.

Glad you've got that analysed, I don't know this supplier, ta, will take a look.
Martin Lewis is The Dude alright
I knew about the Oct raise, but wasn't aware about the Jan one. We're with Eon, and I didn't spot a big price difference looking at other suppliers. -
@solarbranka No there's little real competition. Most are just offering the price cap. Been very happy with Outfox. More cheesed off with standing charges to be honest. We're low energy users so no need to flip but may well do this one just to negate this winter increase.
