I love this product that solidifies frying oil. Daiso has it sometimes if you have one near you. You put a bunch of this stuff into hot oil after turning off the heat. Give it a stir, and it hardens and cools so you can toss the hardened oil

@skinnylatte That's interesting. Do you know what it is?
I've been finding used oil very useful for lighting the fire but, now that winter's over, that use is no longer so useful.

@alanb yeah first got it from daiso. But the supply at US Daisos was so uneven we had to order other brands
