okay, I have some questions about the whine that changes pitch when I bring a screwdriver into the case

I thought that whine had been the power supplies

but it was the fabric NIC squealing

what kind of weird ass fields has it been throwing around in here!? Because I was like, "the card is reporting a high temp, I should remove it since I don't have optical network gear" and that's why I brought the screwdriver near it when the PSUs were still plugged in

soooo yeah.
