I agree, but almost all members of Congress have their fingers in their ears when anyone tries to talk rationally & diplomatically about Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, Gaza, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, etc etc... Israelis absolutely have the right to justice for the horror of the massacre of totally innocent people. But boy did Netanyahu go way overboard. I know many countries, especially US, are unwilling to officially sanction Israel, but Netanyahu is out of control. -

@lolonurse @msbellows No, they're not — but they may well be shining examples of just the kind of "education" that institution offers. At the time I went off to college, I was the only one of my first cousins who were in college on both sides of my family who did not go there. To say I am unimpressed with the quality of education they received there would be a vast understatement.

Yes, I very much agree. And I'd note that a primary reason Congressional folks have their fingers in their ears when any of this is discussed is that right-wing interest groups, notably right-wing Christian ones, have tried to make it impossible to do anything other than buy anything Israel does while pretending Palestinians aren't human.
