I finally pulled the trigger on some lenses for my camera. I got a telephoto lens for hiking and getting pictures from far away. Also got a 35mm and a 50mm lens for pictures in and around my house. I got a step up from the cheapest lenses but not the super expensive ones because I have a DSLR and when I eventually go mirror less I won’t be able to reuse them. Bummer.

@RedQueenCoder which system are you using?
I still use my EF (film/DSLR) lenses on my mirrorless R5… I thought most other major camera makers did the same. They work great.

@octothorpe Nikon. I have a D5600.

@RedQueenCoder and you’ve got DX lenses? They will work on Nikon’s mirrorless, but if you get a FF body, they’ll vignette unless you crop. So you can get some extra life out of the lenses you have.
