I am so angry.

I had hoped that my mom wouldn't vote to take away rights of millions of people. I had hoped that she wouldn't vote to make this country a dangerous place. I had hoped that she had a tiny shred of morality and decency, and compassion.

I hoped, but I didn't know. So this morning I asked her, and now I have no mother.

I've put up with enough hatred from her and other Mormon family members while all the while they call it love. I'm done.

Family has nothing to do with genes, or who gave birth to you. I do not include fascists in my family.
