Given the alternative flipping of an infinite number of random circumstances maybe it would have been you in the 90s doing thumb-sized bumps of cocaine in a hotel room while NME tried to call you to fawn at your genius. Maybe it’d be me. This is key to Oasis: they’re anti-meritocratic.
