At this point, dunking on Google's AI summaries for bad/wrong/hilarious summaries is almost too easy, but I came across this one this evening, and I love it

In it's defense, there really is a study in the BMJ that looked at whether parachutes actually saved lives, and concluded that parachutes did not perform better than an empty backpack. ( https://www.bmj.com/content/363/bmj.k5094 )
To it's discredit, however, the paper was clearly satire, and says so itself.

The study itself is fantastic, I recommend reading it if you have the time. They were parodying some terrible experiments that were extrapolating data into environments where the data didn't work. In their case, they couldn't get anyone to volunteer to be the control group for a study of parachute effectiveness at altitude. In other words, they couldn't get volunteers to jump out of an flying plane without a parachute.
