@[email protected] Possibly, but most Sharkey instances don't have open sign ups from what i've seen but I guess maybe there's one instance with open sign ups that is getting lots of sign ups but shouldn't the stats show that on FediDB?

@sam could be. Not sure how it was happening over the past week but I saw a lot of mention spam from seemingly new accounts on a range of instances, so I admit I made assumptions there.

@sam yup, outcast dot zip, its been blocked so the numbers have returned to normal. That's the 3rd one this month, but let me make it clear, this has nothing to do with the Sharkey project itself.
I have nothing but respect for Sharkey!
