What are folks using for an #Open #Source #VNC client on #Linux these days?

For the record, I've no complaints about Tiger's speed/network capabilities. Just the #UX is terrible for a typical server setup / debugging workflow with CTRL + ALT and frequent cut and pastes.
OFC I'm automating all this, but for testing/debugging I'm stuck with this.
As much as I hate proprietary software, Dell's IDRAC works very well for this same scenario.

@dentangle
Not sure which desktop you are using, but I was really happy with Remina (works best on KDE), years back when I did a lot of RDP and VNC work. -

@nikatjef Thanks for the suggestion. Remina doesn't look like it pulls in too many dependencies so I'll add that to my list to try.

@nikatjef Installed!
First test - trying to switch to a virtual console in the Debian installer. CTRL-ALT-F2.
The menu says CTRL-R will turn on keyboard grab, which sounds promising, except:
1) CTRL-R doesn't toggle grab
2) Clicking on the menu to turn it on manually works. Except it doesn't appear to "grab" anything afaict. CTRL-ALT-F2 just throws me into my laptop console, so no grabbing there.Test 2: Paste.
Takes a few levels of menu to get to the paste function and it just crashes

@denix Thanks - just trying it now, but as per my other reply it's not going well. Paste crashes the program, and "grab" doesn't

@penguin42 I haven't. Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like it wants to pull in most of KDE, unfortunately. I run a fairly minimal system.

@dentangle it used to have some issues with Wayland, since a couple of months it’s been perfect. These guys are doing a fantastic job.

@funkybuddha Perhaps it works better on KDE etc. A lot of ppl are recommending it. Doesn't seem to play nicely with dwm on my setup here.
