@dramypsyd what is even to discuss? a warrant is *not* an invitation to enter i don't know what's that person bubble like, for them to even consider that a valid question --no, i'm not angry, just keeping with the proposed tone of the screenshot. but i *do* find it a non-valid question.

@dramypsyd Oh, 100%. So much of vampire lore is based on aristocracy and authority. A legal writ executed by a vampire with in that role could absolutely allow them entry. Now, I could see a fun story about a warrant issued under false pretenses causing a very unpleasant experience for said vampire.

The property system, including the right to exclude and the concept of trespass, are components of the state. A police warrant is too, and overrides the right to exclude. So yes, it is an invitation to enter (just not from you).
Also, how can a question be non-valid??

@naught101 @gureito @dramypsyd but vampires aren't bound by the legal state, but by magical law that makes a person's home their realm. They also can't enter churches and other hallowed ground usually, and those are places open to the public that legally can be entered by anyone.
