@wood5y A great word and not one I know. I see that it means frightened. I'll try to keep that word in my head and use it sometimes! It's not among the dialectical usages my own largely English heritage has passed down from the time most of my ancestors came to North America in the 1600s.

@wood5y Same here. I was on the bird site for, well, I didn't keep count. The day Musk took control of it, I shut my account down and in a few weeks found Mastodon. And I agree that it's generally friendlier and politer.
