@woollypigs same. It's just bizarre that they all thought, "this looks safe".

@jbenjamint @woollypigs clearly no one in their circles grew up with the public child safety videos.
Set on Farms and building sites.

@onepict @jbenjamint or grew up "free-range" near farms and forests or concrete playgrounds. Places that will tell you - don't do dumb things cause you will hurt if you do.

@woollypigs @jbenjamint I still remember climbing up on containers on the nearby building site and other dangerous stuff near the cement mixers.
Although when I was 12, the "this might result in a hospital visit or death" switch happened.
Although for some folks it never does switch on.

@onepict og yes - I often climbed into an electric substation to collect footballs. The gate was our goal. Makes me shiver just thinking about it now.

@jbenjamint ooh, that is the exact plot of one of the videos they used to play on the TV in the 1980s.
You've given me shivers now too.

@onepict @jbenjamint yes building sites were a great playground, hide and seek, tag and jumping into rockwool from scaffolding. Fun days. But we all that that switch and checked will this result in ouch or not
