@vaurora @snowdolphin it’s not 100% true that they die from colliding with turbine blades, they actually die from the drop in pressure as they pass wind turbines. Dr. Erin Baerwald is a friend of mine and she’s done a lot of research on that subject. It wouldn’t be hard to mitigate the damage either, but I’ve heard wind farm owners are reluctant to cut production even for short periods during migration season.

@vjgoh @vaurora @snowdolphin which is a shame, like those periods could be for maintenance, safety checks and installation of extra equipment.
