I'm interested in how tech and society interact in ways that impact marginalized people.
I'm known for my work on AlterConf, a tech & gaming conference that centered marginalized people, and Fund Club, a no-strings-attached fundraising program for marginalized people's projects in tech and gaming.
I talk about surveillance, anti-capitalism, sociology, STS, tech, abolition, and books. I’m particularly interested in the history of white supremacy and anti-Black racism in the US. #introduction

@Ashedryden welcome.
Fediverse is definitely the place to research and discuss such things.
To get an idea of things, a LOT of replies to this linked post discuss the problems people have and shows how disconnected, at least Eugen is, in regards to harassment of marginalized folks and moderation to limit such things.

Good luck, I hope some real change comes soon, and may you be as federated as you wish, friend.
