    You know that if you edit a file of NodeBB itself it may refuse to update by git pull because a merge would be needed?
    So it may be that you're working with an old version of NodeBB o_O

    Anyways...
    If you are able to delete a post you have the permission to also restore it. Because of this the post doesn't get removed but only gets less opacity (within the official themes).
    I just don't know in which case the post could be removed from DOM after reload, may be an inofficial theme or an old version of NodeBB (maybe because of the reason above).

    I know this is quite old, but i encountered the same problem. I had localhost written in my config.json, but changed it to my domain. I still get GET http://localhost:4567/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji-extended/images/smile.png net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
    I also restarted my server with the admin gui - is a hard restart or reinstallation necessary for the changes to take effect?

    @a_5mith submit an issue 😉
    It does not support groups, because the NodeBB chat also doesn't support it. The framework I use for it supports it though.

    Final week of uni, will try to look at it next week.
