@chris I will be watching on CBC. I have PBS (Over the air) as an alternative.

@chris I will be looking at the Youtube video dispensing machine for live feeds. There is no "Elections Canada " equivalent in the USA to collect and disseminate results, but Associated Press is the body designated by large news media to collect and distribute the raw data from each state.
Websites from CNN, ABC nd probably Faux news will likely have the better infographics/maps and counts direct from their systems which are fed by the AP data.

@[email protected] I'm thinking of compulsively reloading every news site on the internet for 24 hours straight.

@EdwinG over the Air! Nice. I am not in range of any of the OTA stuff now that they went digital! We were always on the periphery in Port Alberni

@chris The web sites allow you to check counties that are of interest to you. (For instance, Clinton County NY which borders Canada near Montréal would be of interest to me, it has been MAGA red).
Actual TV is mostly talking heads that speculate most of the time, with actual data for a couple minutes per hour. But once MAGA riots begin, they become realy important to cover them. Same with Trump's web site which will likely have a message to his cult calling then to arms.

@jfmezei oh gawd, No offense, but I hate this post so much for its realism.
Yes.

@chris I don't want to know until it's over. There's nothing I can do as it's happening, so why stress myself.

@chris Not Canadian but I also know that if I spend time fixating on early results I will rip my hair out. Therefore, I'll be watching the hockey and/or V for Vendetta and setting a timer for when to look. The AP does a pretty good tracker at https://apnews.com/projects/election-results-2024/ but that isn't video-based (if that's what you're looking for).

@theteapixie @chris Not sure AP makes the data available to the public since they are paid by large media outlets to do the job. Will have to hunt tomorrow to see if any of their raw data is available in user-readable form. But basically all news outlets basically get their data from them so depends on each news outlet's IT sustem on how quickly it gets to their web site, and then add to this their prediction engines that will project winner etc.

@chris I just tooted about this, but there was a big banner for streaming election coverage on Disney+ if you have that service, but I have no idea where it is getting pulled from.

@dx Someone else said it would be the ABC News feed (Disney owns ABC)
