Hey #Fedi I have realized the ipv4 is still incredibly dominant in the internet, and I realize that we all need to do our part for the adoption of ipv6.
So lets start an initiative, #IPV6forFedi if you're an instance admin look into getting ipv6 support for your instance.
If you're a regular fedi user boost this post or raise awareness.

@10leej Nobody has, but if it has wider adoption I think somebody can figure it out.

@sirobsidian My biggest issue is that a lot of consumer appliance devices dont support ipv6. Stuff like streaming devices like roku, some smart home devices and such

@10leej I think another major problem is that hosting providers also don't bother providing an ipv6 address. Oracle cloud for instance doesn't give me an ipv6 ip, but Akamai/Linode does.
