The only good thing about Starbucks is that wherever you are in the world, you know you'll get the same overpriced mediocre coffee. Works okay if you're too lazy to look for better coffee shops in an unfamiliar city.

@grishka @darius This Starbucks has a relatively expensive and comfortable interior. Locally owned cafes have better coffee, but are often quite tiny, with just a few chairs. But I do try to keep the wealth local much of the time.

In the US, it's the only chain I'm familiar with that has standardized on the single-stall, gender neutral restrooms that are the norm in much of Europe. They've won me over for that reason. (Although yes, their coffee tastes burnt 100% of the time.)

@fontenot @jonathan @grishka that part is really nice. They're also good for like, reasonably cheap and healthy fast food especially if you're in a part of the country without a lot of options in that realm.
